Strling and 925 silver jewelry seems more popular than pure silver jeweley, as the pure siver is soft, easy to oxidation and more expensive. But pure silver is easier to be shaped and carved, so the jewelry made of it is more delicate and all of them should be made by hand.
So what's your opinion, do you like pure silver jewelry?

The big disatvatage that it's too soft. You cannot make sophisticated forms. However many people have allergies to nickel. Sterling silver contains some nickel.

Sometimes it's not so much the nickel as much as the acid content in one's skin. I'm a perfect example, I turn all my silver rings and bracelets black due to the acid in my skin. Even my Omega watch which cost me a fortune has fallen victim and it a different metal altogether. Unfortunately for silver anything beyond .925 limits what you can bring to market, even at .925 it still dings, dents, scratches and bends easily.

what's best with silver accessories is that you can easily pair them up with your clothes regardless of what the occasion is...

They look nicer and cleaner as compared to gold jewelries, IMO. But since they tarnish quite easily, I prefer white gold over silver anytime.

I like silver jewelries.. Its more cheap compare to all other jewelry..I Guess Tiffany & Co. got the best designs.. Like what what I have here(my bracelet and necklace)I also have rings and earing's made of white gold..:p i think white Golds are more shiny and more classy to wear compare to Silvers..But whatever..i still love silver!

Hey everyone!

Just thought this would be a good place to advertise my new Accessory (just in time for Christmas) - My company is called Franklin Prince (my name) - at the moment everything is very basic, as we have only just started, we currently have 2 bracelets on the market in a range of colours, which are selling well. New products are in the pipeline, so if you like our products keep your eyes peeled!

Every bracelet is handmade - and each bead used is made of high quality Thai silver. We will soon be introducing a range of charm bracelets, pendants, and a wider range of colours of the current designs.
The current styles available might appeal to people who like, Links of London, Paul Smith accessories, or any boho style jewellery.

Here is the link to our online store: www.franklinprince.bigcartel.com

I like silver jewelery because it can be worn casually as compared with gold. Secondly it looks more sophisticated. I have a huge collection of silver jewelery.

Sterling Silver is getting popular (92.5 pc Silver, the remainder copper). Most can't tell the difference between that and pure Silver except in durability which is why Sterling Silver is quite popular.
BTW, who likes Rubys, Amber and diamonds with Silver?

Pure silver jewelry seems great...because this silver is softer than the other types of silver, it comes in ornate and elaborate designs.

Yes! I found out the hard way after spending a lot on gold jewellery... I saw a doctor and he told me its the nickel present in 90% of al jewellery. Then I came across unique silver jewellery (http://www.beautyandjewels.co.uk), hypoallergenic (http://www.beautyandjewels.co.uk), and nickel free (http://www.beautyandjewels.co.uk) at Beauty & Jewels (http://www.beautyandjewels.co.uk). Check them out for some unique 925 pieces, stunningly gorgeous as well, and what'smore affordable! Service i sgreat, and packaging ever so cute! I'd recommend them to anyone...

I hope this helps

I would prefer sterling silver over pure silver since pure silver tarnishes more often than sterling silver.

I love sliver Jewelry too!! Where do you girl typically buy your jewelry from? Oddly enough, I buy majority of my silver jewelry at Kohl's (http://www.shopathome.com/Coupons/kohls.com)! I know it seems odd, but they actually have a really great selection there! I love it because the jewelry is hip, young, classy, and very well priced!!

Silver jeweleries are pretty attractive and suits on all.
Silver Jeweleries are much easier to manage and maintain than gold.

Pure silver does not react with air or water, but reacts with hydrogen sulphide, ozone and air containing sulfur, which causes fogging. The classic example of this occurs when egg is delivered on a silver platter. boiled egg gas emissions of hydrogen sulfide and tarnishes the plate.
