would definitely be Paige Premium Denim! Out of all the jeans I have worn, Piage denims are the perfect fit. I think shopping for jeans is the hardest thing because I'm short but her jeans make my legs look long. Her styles and washes are hip, fun and I can wear them everywhere! Love em!

i've heard great things about the fit of paige denims. haven't tried a pair myself though. however, i heard that because it is comfortable, it's not as tight fitting as one may like. can't really tell by the models, and i don't have a model body haha. how does it fit on u?

I love Replay jeans as they are nicely low slung and i love my Sevens too (though sizing can be a pain - ive got a pair of bootcuts that are waist 27 and a pair or flares that are waist 28 in the same color but the smaller waist size is actually bigger on that the larger ones! - How weird is that?!)
Best budget jeans are either New Look or Next (but once theyve lost their shape they never look as good - unfortunately thats after about 6 months depending on wear and washing frequency)

I love Paige Premiums! I also wear Seven for all Mankind, Rock and Republic and Citizens of Humanity. I have others but these labels are by far the best fit IMO.

While I'm not big on the price point Rogans, paper denim & cloth, and Seven make some great styles for homme.

my favorite would definantly have to be J brand. they just make your bum look so cute and they have a really good fit and feel. I tried a pair of Tsubi skinny jeans out because i heard people raving about them but in all honesty (IMO) i think they make people look kind of frumpy and make your ass look flat and wide. Definantly LOVE j brand

I find they do run 1 size too big. If your ordering them online you may want to consider this.

I am also short, but my favorite jeans are Silver Jeans. You have to go up 2-3 sizes around the waist, but the length is perfect for me! I absolutely love them, but you can only get them at a couple of stores, or online. I aslo have a bigger bottom, and they fit my bottom perfect! I wish they were more avaliable, but they are definetly my favorite...by far!

My favourite kind of jeans - none ! Jeans are going out, legs are back in fashion. I remember that Pretty Polly ad on the billboards all over Ireland, showing a pair of legs in sheer PP tights and begging the question: "When was the last time you had a pair of jeans like these? "
And really tight jeans can hurt and pinch worse than any girdlle and leave you red raw.
10 denier tights and shapewear, girdle or spanx for me, much more comfy and supportive in the right places, and far more slimming too (girdle for formal occasions, spanx for everyday casual). see: Zona - The Girdle Zone (http://www.girdlezone.org), my bible !
(I kept my old jeans for housework and around the garden, and had them all taken out for that purpose by the local tailor).

I just got a pair of Joes Jeans this weekend that I love! I have to have them hemmed like 5 inches (I'm too short!) but other then that, they fit great, and are made out of the softest denim. And even better- I got them at TJ Maxx- originally 140, marked down to 54. I was so excited!

Yes, they originated in the States, an American national costume.

The statement of jeans being out is news to me, as I was never aware that they were in fact "in". Jeans are what I think people who have style call, a "basic" an "essential", a "staple" or even "timeless". The beauty of denim is in versitility, and jeans will always be a part of the wardrobe, though their popularity ebbs and flows like the rest of the fashion industry, I don't think they are going anywhere.
That said, I am an absolute Jean freak, and until this post, I was afraid I was the only one. And when it comes to my jeans, I am pretty selective, and I have tried several.
Sevens- Hohum really, nice washes, the fits are flattering enough for even male figures, but quite honestly, I still don't see what all the fuss is about. I would associate the label with the surprisingly cruel word "Nice." They are nice jeans with nice cuts, nice fits and nice washes. And I don't know about you guys, but nice is NOT a $170+ word for me.
Energie - Not enough people talk about this brand. Partly because of its limited distribution to american retailers, there are very few, and partly, I would think, because they are one of few male only denim designers. Their cuts are clean and sometimes edgy, their washes are a sight to see with sometimes immoderate fading, yet somehow they remain on my list of favorites. The fits make these happen.
Lucky Brand - Nuh uh. All or nothing, and these are far too lukewarm, middle of the road. "Nice" applies well here. Gap equivelent jeans for the rich and famous, IF you're rich and famous.
Diesel - I like diesel jeans. Very comfortable fit, nice range of washes, which is to be expected as they have been in the bussiness long enough. They definitely got it right with their 2006-2007 models.
but more than any other:
True Religion- The implications of the word "perfect" can be risky, even dangerous. It implies a certain degree of excellence and creates certain expectations. It diminishes the breathing room a company has between customer satisfaction and product quality and consistency. It suggests that all other variables be considered and weight responsibly. It creates all sorts of nasty troubles if used recklessly.
True Religion jeans. Are. Perfect.
The thing about perfection in fit is that you don't have to think about it, you don't have to take a 2 hour test drive, or a thirty day free trial. It's there or it's not. True Religion just had that magic touch and it is my absolutely favorite brand of denim. My preferance, Joey's fit like not other bootcuts I have tried, the detailing is excellent, the denim quality is bar-none.
They remind me exactly why I think that as apposed to a nice shirt or jacket, jeans don't just make you look good. They make you feel good.

And how could I have possibly forgotten my number two brand, David Bitton Buffalo jeans. Though he has continued to move in the direction of larger trendy collections, all for the best, he still has my favorite non-American denim line out there. Buffalo jeans get extra points for trendy cuts, straight-legs that actually fit, a bootcut that fits like a glove, and some of my favorites in the darker hued washes. Recommended 2007 styles are the "Ruffer" straight-leg (which is saying something because I never where straight-leg cut), the "King" slim boot, and the ever popular "Style Six" men's skinny jean.

FULL MARKS for a well-written essay - but I still hate jeans, America's "gift" to the world. In German the word "gift" means poison.

I'm a bit of a brand junky, but my favourite jeans are from a little known designer (well, at least here in the UK!), called Dorinha Jeans Wear. I have bought a whole bunch of their stuff from WEAR MY JEANS . I can honestly say, that (assuming you too like low rise, bootcut jeans as I do!) these are the best fitting, comfy and most flattering jeans I have. I'm always getting remarks from both sexes on the way they look and quality is second to none! I have one pair which I have worn to death but they keep going!!!!!! Very, very good value for money too!

I like those too, but if you are looking for something that's NOT over $100...try Express. Almost every pair I own are from there...only thing is, you can order the longs online. I have a 36" inseem, and have a TERRIBLE time finding jeans that fit properly! =/ They used to sell long in stores, but they stopped a while back...not sure why...
