I'm going to make a list of bands that I recommend you guys listening to. A lot of these bands are indie in one way or the other. Try not to shit my thread, I'm trying to pick up the pace for this place. Besides, we have genmay for that. :)
Feel free to input any bands that you guys recommend that we should listen to.
Also, try to put in some info about the band in your post. Like a link to their site so we can hear their songs. Basically, as much info as possible.

I'll continue adding bands once I stop getting lazy and have free time.

Let the recommendations begin:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Band Name: Casiotone for the Painfully alone

Genre: Indietronica

Band's website: http://www.cftpa.org/

Band's myspace: http://www.myspace.com/cftpa

Songs that you should listen to: Nashville Parthenon, I love Creedence, Young Shields, Scattered Pearls, Cold White Christmas, New Years Kiss, Toby take a bow, and much much more. Just get the albums Etiquette, and Twinkle Echo.
One of my favorite bands.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Band Name: Her Space Holiday

Genre: Indietronica, Indie rock

Band's Website: http://www.herspaceholiday.com/

Band's myspace: http://www.myspace.com/herspaceholiday

Songs that you should listen to: Tech Romance, My Girlfriends boyfriend, Missed Medication, The Weight of the world, Japanese Gum, Sleepy California, Girl Problem, and so much more. This band is also a favorite of mine. I would get this guy's entire discography. But, if you only can get a couple albums get: The Young Machines, and The Past Presents the Future.

Madding Crowd are one of my favourites at the moment. They're a really great mix of classic song writing combined with authentic rock n roll. Quite a strange and eccentric lot as well...all the members are born decades apart and are from really diverse backgrounds. Have a listen to 'Modern Man' at their myspace;

I love the Swedish band Versant featuring Carah Faye from Shiny Toy Guns. They have moved to US recently. Can’t wait to watch them perform live!
