Hotel california kick ass track like. Anyone here like em? i know i have made 3 topics about bands but hey there rock there kick ass bands so sue me :wink: . Anyways back to the eagles anyone?

they are an amazing band, if you ever see the live video for hotel california they do a double guitar solo with the 2nd guitar 1 second behind the lead, the load is done on a double neck, its a fantastic piece of viewing.

also think of the talent in the band, one of the hardest things is playing and singing, now guitar is hard enough to learn to do in time with singing but drums is amazing, not many can do that and even when they do they do practically nothing on the kit other than the kick and high hats and then they sing but Don from the eagles use to do the lot while singing.

its funny how they are so popular yet have had no recognition as such ie awards
chart sucesses
they are kinda like an underground band in some respects lol
kinda blah its hard to describe just failed miserably trying!!

not at all, in the states they are in the middle of thier fare-well tour and its packing in crowds all the time!

they released a new single over here along with thier greatest hits last year, the single sounds a hell of alot like backstreet boys and im not trying to be funny or rude, it sounds exactly the same :o

haven't heard much of their work, only few songs. and i must say hotel california is one of the best songs ever written i adore it especially mirrors on the celing, pink champaigne on ice part . i've been meaning to get some fo their albums at least some best of but i can never get myself to do it. its the same thing with gnr and manowar as well

hmm i don't know much about them, but "hotel california" is definatly one of those timeless songs. my mum always says "oh this makes me remember good times" when its on on the radio, i say the same so... hehe i think its on the soundtrack of everyone's life lol
