just from reading this thread, why do you think they are set apart from the fans when performing?

to me it sounds like they are too involved in thier set...too full on in performing and for a live show thats wrong.

I'm not big on the theatrics in rock music, i wanna see a band play not a sideshow.

but KISS. thats all a stage show but still the fan base is fucking huge!!!! and they do interact with the fans and draw the fans in....

i dunno but not inc. the fans in the show, like making a fan feel seperated from the gig would just prove the band to be useless. :E

im sorry but i think them not including fans in theshow is B.S - how can you not be included in the show when corey makes every last member of the audience sit down - as stated before to appreciate the knot you have to be a maggot - if not you dont get it (it being what slipknot is)

no, i havnt seen them live, i wouldnt go if it was thier last ever show, tickets were free, i was the one and only VIP in the place and they made me king after. i wouldnt go. its my opinion. all along i just relayed back what other people say. my friends have seen them live many times, they like the band but dont think much of thier performances. simple.

now with kiss - they are not just intrested in the show, no-way! thier entire 'no make-up' phase came all around with the unplugged sessions. it was an extreme change sitting down with some acoustics & singing these hits to a small audience. they got in an entire new-huge fan-base from that. and that was all about the music.

im kinda up for a huge fight when a band is put down studpidly. so whenever your ready yeah....

i could sit for days bashing THE most overrated band in-the-world-ever ~ by the way its nirvana. but i dont do it and leave it, ill back it up with facts. let me know when your ready for em :D

Actually your post joeykid makes me wonder if you would prefer seeing KISS with all their makeup full out rock type concert or if you'd prefer them to be all acoustic, no make up type? *shrug*

it wouldnt bother me in the slightest. i like the band a hell of alot. i have seen lots of footage, heard lots of recordings and read lots of reviews, usually everything gives postitive feedback, kiss acoustic would be pretty lovely, gentle soundin' pretty cool and kiss full blown electric would be what everyone knows and loves...

to me it would be just kiss in concert, i couldnt ask for much more

I saw them live at ozzfest and they are great... can't wait to get the new cd. I heard "pulse of the maggots" so far and thought it was awesome :blink:
