satan worshiping rock

i tought this topic would be interesting

so what do you think of rock music that can be linked with satan worshiping? i think that stuff church teaches abt music with such theme is silly. for instance i read in one book that covers this topic this line "if your child listenes to bands like iron maiden, black sabbath, acdc, kiss and such bands you may want to search his room cause there is a big chance that your kid posseses satanistic bible and worships satan" :lol: how stupid is that.ok i admit i have satanistic bible in .pdf format on my comp but that is cause i wanted to see what it talks about not cause i worship satan. i think that good music is good music no matter what subject it talks about. theme of a song doesn't change songs artistic value. what is your oppinion.

i don't think that is a way to make money cause devil worshiping isn't soccially acceptable. cause of that only excellent songs with such theme become famous and aired by radio, tv........ i think that ppl have predjudices abt songs with such theme and they avoid them without ever giving them a chance.

Thats true but there is verying degrees of worshiping the odd reference isnt so bad but a full blown song about it i wouldnt listen to.

i agree that the definition of worshiping is sth that must be set. we can take the church's definition of worshiping. for church iron maiden's number of the beast is devil worshiping song cause it has a line 666 the number of the beast, 666 the one for you and me. but that song doesn't praise the devil at all. as you shall be able to see after i put its lyircs on the forum

the fans dont listen to that church- and thats why the music and these bands are getting ever popular. the church can say all they want- but these kids arent going to stand around and say "oh yeh, the church says it so i gotta stop". that's bull. most of them are individuals, they have a lot to say and wont back down because of what some religious sect has to say on the matter.

I think it's a bunch of stereotypical bullshit. I know people who listen to that sort of music who believe in God and Bible, I've yet to meet anyone who worships satan. Granted I'm thankful I haven't, but fact remains I haven't met anyone who worships satan because of a particular form of music.

alternate current changes the direction it flowsthereby causing the change of power of current. cause of changing power the magnetic flow changes and and electromagnetic induction is created which causes a creation of current in a wire that is inside that electromagnetic field but it doesn't have to be connected to powersource. that is a principle on which transformators work. if there was no ac the loss of power during its transportation through power lines would be so great that electricty would be a luxury for extremly rich ppl. nowdays 'only' abt 30-50% of power is lost during transportation.

WHen you find something you enjoy learning about it makes it all that much more interesting. But at the same time Andy's got a point with all the "technical" aspects the people say you need to get some degree in music.

it's like I can see/agree you need the technical studies to learn electrical enginering, but how much studying do you need to do of past law cases to know what the laws read & how to read them??? If it wasn't for all the bullshit "case studies" you have to do I wouldn't mind studying law. I can read the laws and tell quite plainly what they mean usually, but having to go through and saying "well in this case this decision was made..." kind of stuff is boring and to me a waste of time becuase you can research all that later.

a bit hehe The only thing I knew about Alternating current prior to your lesson there was AC stuff is what powers things in your home, and DC is what powers things in your car via the adapater.

I would like to share a little story on this subject. Now I've been known to listen to bands such as slayer, black sabbath etc. but I would not consider myself a satanist by any means, but I would also never consider myself a christian. I was in a band called the handsome uglies ,which has since disbanded due to musical differences, a while back and we used to use the drummers church to practice in because they had recording equipment, awesome accoustics and free popsicles. We usually tried to practice when the church was empty but one day we were practicing in there while the minister was present. We started to do play our awesome cover of foxy lady and as soon as I tore into the vocals the minister came running out and started yelling at us and calling us satanists. Make a long story short, I'm stuck with eternal damnation and my band could no longer use the church. I think it's a bit fanatical to claim that this music is for satan. what do you guys think?
