Finally...Brand New

I've been wanting to see Brand New for about 5 years now, and last night my wish came true. I saw Brand New and Yellowcard. I won't lie, it was disappointing because they played most of their new stuff and Jesse tried to be so artistic and emotional, it just came across as forced. Still finally awesome.

I saw them play with Dashboard, and they were hacked off about something - they played like the devil and God truly were raging inside of them.

The crowd was awful - pushing and shoving in a terrible, terrible way. They pressed so hard that I lifted my feet off the ground and I was suspended in the air. I sank about two inches, then was stuck. It was ridiculous.

But yeah, Brand New plays SO well. I wish they would do a headlining tour near here so I can see them play 70x7.

That's the one thing that pisses me off about brand new, they won't play their old stuff because they are too "mature" for it. I'm not saying I don't like their new stuff because I think it's amazing... but they got their fanbase from their old stuff, they should also play what the crowd wants.

I'm going to see them in November, and if they don't play old stuff, i shall be uber pissed.

Also, I hardly consider Br& New to be emo...
