I felt to get this forum going I decided to make a Emo/Indie recommendation thread.
What bands would you recommend for the emo/indie crowd? You can put in all the obvious and the up and coming bands.

Let's see a band that I would recommend is Electric President.
Most of you guys probably have heard it, but I think they're a really good band.
Here's there link.

The songs that I would recommend: Insomnia, We were never built to last, Metal Fingers, and some others that I can't remember. Basically, the entire album is good. Just search for their album.

Thanks for the links to ELectric President, as well!

I like their sound - I wouldn't call it emo, but it's still very good indie music. I like the vocals and the restraint that the band uses in "Metal Fingers" and "Good Morning, Hypocrate." I don't know if they meant it to be Hypocrate or Hypocrite, but either way it's a cool song.

and the fast part of "Metal Fingers" is amazing. Awesome.

Yeah, they're a great band. I know they're not emo hence that's why I made a Indie/Emo thread. Unless you thought it was only an emo thread or something.

awesome moody indie with GREAT vocals. Very atmospheric while still retaining energy. I like 'em a lot.
