Hi! My name's Cory and I sing for the band Breedlove(September Riot Records).

We're a passionate metal/hardcore/punk band with a devastating live show.

We're coming of a July/August tour with Sender Receiver and we need a few more dates to round out the end of our solo tour. We're gonna need a date around the Tulsa/OKC area on August 7th or 8th.

If anyone can help us out, or just point us to someone else who may be able to we would greatly appreciate it. Show trades/free merch is a possibility for your troubles!

In the meantime, feel free to check out our Myspace.

Thanks for your time,
Cory

Lucky for you, I'm from Oklahoma. Here's the run-down on places that you can play as a metal band.

Tulsa:

www.thepinkeye.com - tons and tons of metal/punk/hardcore shows.
www.thehiveclub.com - sometimes metal/punk/hardcore shows.

OKC:

www.conservatoryokc.com - lots and lots of shows, period.
http://www.myspace.com/convergenceokc - new, not much contact with them.

Norman (20 min south of OKC):
http://www.myspace.com/studio360ok (all metal/hardcore/punk shows).

You are awesome sir/madam.

Thanks a lot for your help, and anyone else who happens to have some similar info for different cities feel free to pass it along.

xoxo,
Breedlove

Then thanks Stephen!

I didn't realize you also run Independent Clauses. We would love to submit something to your magazine for review. And we will definitely keep you informed of when we come through the area!

It's awesome for someone to take their own time to help out other people just by sharing what they know. If there were more people like you, being in a touring band might actually be easy, or at least not make you want to bash your face into a wall.

Later man,
Cory - Breedlove

I like what you've got on myspace. Actually, it sounds like it would be an awesome live show... best of luck in your endeavors.
