Yes, theyre a great band! As of late they've been my favorite.
I saw them live last month and it was a show I'll never forget. I even got to meet them after the show and they were the nicest people also. I cant say anything bad about that band.

They'll be performing this summer in the United States on Ozzfest. I cant wait to see them there. I haven't bought a ticket yet because I have other expenses at the moment and an Ozzfest ticket is too expensive for me right now ($100!)
I'll definitely be there to see them without a doubt. I'm one of the biggest fans Dragonforce will ever have!

the last time i saw them live they fucked around so more it was boring. they were so sloppy like they didnt give a shit, as long as they played fast they thought no-one would noticed, but we did!
i loved them up until last year, now i cant listen to them. seen them live 4 times and theyve totally gone down hill!

I love them on recording, but they definitely can't play it live. They lose points for that with me. Great music (though still confined to the power metal stereotypes). If anything, I'll commend them for really bringing the whole "video game guitar" thing into popularity.

Just saw them live tonight.... WOW
Guys, I suspect they may have brushed up their live shows quite a bit. The guitars were as far as I could tell exact as from the albums, and ZP's singing was pretty good. A few sour notes in Valley of the Damned, and I think Soldiers of the Wasteland was the other.
Most embarrassing bit was them getting the crowd to sing a chorus for Op Ground and Pound, and around about halfway through, we somehow all forgot the words. The band just *stopped*. Awkwardness ensued.
But yeah, second best live performance of my life.

They're annoying to me. I mean that fast guitar playing is cool and all but it gets boring quick.

Dragon Force are obviously making there way up to number 1 in speed metal. I think Herman Li is one of the quickest guitarists today. They are a unique band that rock. I went and saw them live in Brisbane when they did the Australian tour early this year. They are bullshit good live haha. TEN OUT OF TEN... and I'm stoked to have there albums. Except I think Sam Totman might be gay lol.

You should have seen the shit he got here in Auckland. ZD dryhumped him, got him to turn back towards the audience, then asked if he looked like a giant penis (yes), then accused him of secretly being 'that guy from FallOut Boy', given the hoodie and cap he was wearing.
Also cue many calls to Sam's parents (Kiwis) saying that he'd been up to no good.

whos ZD?
or do you mean ZP?
Herman may be quick, but he certainly cant play, which is really sad. good example is a tutorial video off one of the guitar magazines (total guitar maybe?)
hes playing a solo, then says " its a bit messy, but hey.." IT SHOULDNT BE MESSY HERMAN YOUR SUPPOSED TO BE A PRO!!
