I've never been much of a COF fan. Black metal isnt a big favorite of mine although, its good in bits and pieces.

Must do, after doing a search I've yet to find any bands called Cradle of Death.

Cradle of Filth were my favourite band once upon a time, and last December I fullfilled one of my life long ambitions; to see Cradle of Filth live. They are great live, the props they use (actors on stage dressed as demons, juggling fire and stuff) is amazing, they put on awesome live shows.

One of my favourite albums all time by any band is Midian by CoF, it's such a great album that I can listen to from start until finish without getting at all bored of it.

On top of all that, they have some pretty insane videos too (such as the banned video for 'From the Cradle to Enslave'). They do some of my favourite videos.

I'm looking forward to their new album Thornography (due for release September 17th '06) because it features some guest vocals from Ville Valo :D! Hopefully it's better than their latest album Nymphetamine, which only had a few songs that struck me as good.

(If there is such a band as 'Cradle of Death' I apologise for completely hijacking your thread. >_>)

I have a few friends that are into them, thats all really. I dont like how they got so commercialized though. Its kind of an oxymoron for a black metal band.

I just read an article with them in it, and I just thought they sounded like arrogant assholes who don't know they won't matter in 10 years. I really hate bands that dress up or act to sell records or make a reputation for themselves. They just seemed like guys trying to act metal when I could beat the shit out of them and watch them cry.
