My favourite band of all time is Metallica. I can never listen to enough Metallica. But anyway, I'm quite new on the metal scene really. I've been listening to this genre of music for perhaps 2 years at the most.
When I had heard the story about Dave Mustaine and Metallica I was curious about Megadeth and so I started to listen to more Megadeth. I think both bands are great, but I must say that they really are the only Thrash Metal bands I listen to ~(seeing as they probably are the most well known TM bands)~
Basically I would like you to recommend me some good thrash/speed metal bands because I honestly don't think that I listen to eenough of this genre.
Thanks!

I'm a huge thrash metal fan! Slayer, Megadeth, Exodus, Kreator... all of them! I would include Metallica, but they've gone off to bigger and "better" things.
I edited your post because you kept calling Thrash Metal, Trash metal. I'm sure it was a mistake.

Haha the bassist to Megadeth, Dave Eleffson, is from my tiny town of 3,000 people. My mom works with his mom, and one of my friend's mom's was in 4-H with him. Crazy.

I just saw him play with Montrose about a month ago. Hes nothing now that hes not with Megadeth.

As in he's always sucked or he's good with a different band too?

I'm currently digging a lot of Kreator, make sure you check out Sepultura (their older stuff), and Cryptic Slaughter (a band that inspired a lot of grindcore bands and crossover thrash metal bands even though they only lasted about 2 albums).
Also, if you start to dig Sepultura I would suggest Nailbomb, sort of a super group of Sepultura vocalist Max Cavalera and drummer Max Cavalera, Fudge Tunnel's Alex Newport, and D.H. Peligro from Dead Kennedys. Awesome stuff.
