the guitarist, JB, went to my college and ive talked to him several times and he's a really nice guy.
they're currently touring with between the buried and me, and the number 12 looks like you, whom i both love.

I'm starting to like music like this more and more.. eventually I'll download some stuff.

I don't mean what I'm about to say to be mean or anything, it's just a byproduct of my ignorance towards this entire genre of music, but when I do listen to music like this, I can never find a distinguishing factor between the music (I'm guessing because I don't listen to it enough and when I do it's few and far between) of this band and another metal band, so I was wondering if you could point out some stuff that you notice

ah JW you are shunned from the hardcore forum. lol. there are a few distinguishing in good hardcore bands. i'll make a thread about it sometime

haha WELL. ill leave the distinguishing part to scott.
but i will tell you that abr has amazing and infectious guitarwork.
their full length out right now is also much better written musically and produced better than their first ep, which was decent for what it was.

abr's song structure in general is much stronger and more diverse than the majority of hardcore bands out there today.
i'll be the first one to say that a lot of the more 'mainstream' hardcore bands sound very similar, only because they lack originality and have an accessible sound i guess?
