Anyone like this guy? He truely is a legend.

He's achieved so much in his lifetime, his concerts are world famous throughout the dance/trance scene and the fact that he scored #1 DJ in the top 100 DJ list of DJ Magazine for three years in a row just goes to prove it.

His In Search of Sunrise compilations are amazing, my favourite's being ISOS4 and ISOS5. He also has his Magik compilations and Forbidden Paradise ones.

DJ Tiesto was one of the first artists that got me into the trance scene, before him I was completely against trance and thought of it all as crap that was 'boom boom boom boom' (the type of stuff boy racers play at 3am in the morning outta their car window) stuff.

A good friend of mine is really in to DJ Tiesto and for that matter a lot of trip hop type techno, so when we hang out I get to hear him quite a bit and he is definitely a talented guy.. I never really listened to him on my own, dunno why, but I'll definitely check out some of those songs :)

Tiesto is overrated, extremely overpaid considering its costs $56,000 to book him (i know this because i had to book him for a show) and his productions are cookie cutter garbage IMO. As far as his remix of silence goes , it was average not the most amazing peice of music ever. now an amazing tune would be BT's Firewater off his ESCM album from 1997

i would take a sasha and digweed set or even ferry corsten over him anyday

the man is a legend to me. Adagio for strings had me hooked the first time I heard it. amazing stuff. Just found out that he's going to be at electric forest festival in rothbury, mi. thats pretty far from me here in kentucky but i'm gonna make the trip. there's a lot of other big electronic acts (bassnectar, pretty lights, shpongle, eoto) as well. Anyone ever seen him at a big festival? I have a feeling its going to be mind-altering!
