Believe me, I'm not a big fan of mainstream rap by any means. I think it's all the same crap that is rapped to various beats....and the only time I hear any of it is when my girlfriend is in the car because she, like other misled youths, are not accustomed to tasteful music. anyways...beside the point.

Does anyone else think that Ridin by Chamillionaire is funny? I heard it on the radio once and I downloaded it simply because I thought it was hilarious. I don't know why.

p.s. I agree "Ridin" is an extremely awful song. These recomendations are coming from a fan of Mogwai, The American Analog Set, The Locust, Ed Gein etc. I think good music is universal, and MTV/radio doesnt play good rock...so one can't really expect it to play good rap.

Oooh, I get the topic title now. c-Rap like crap. Hahaha, I'm a slow one. When I came into this topic I was thinking this was going to be a thread about gangster music; like the c-walk/cryp walk or however you spell it.

I've only listened to Ridin by Chamillionaire a few times. I never paid that close of attention to the lyrics; I was more concerned with changing my friends CD out of the car then worrying about what he had to say (I've heard his other songs and didn't like him).

nonononono...I was most certainly NOT reccomending the song. I was simply saying that the subject matter and the lyrics were slightly amusing. I do not by any means appreciate Chammillionare. please don't misinterpret that. haha...makes me feel low.
