I agree, hardcore basically is whiteman's rap. It's sort of why I generally don't like to listen to it. :p

Alexisonfire is just plain bad, but Hopesfall is awesome. It's hard to categorize them, but they're somewhat post-hardcore.

i basically love all forms of hardcore from old school to screamo (and by that i mean saetia, neil perry, orchid, etc. and not whatever mtv is currently marketing as screamo) the only for i cant stand is moshcore, that hatebreed type stuff, i just feel that it lacks any real musical merit.
