Agh, their newer stuff is on the border of Hawthorne Heights and their older stuff is just plain average.

hey didn't i say no UnderOath posts?

why yes i did!

i have an idea for the Metal/ Hardcore forum. no UnderOath posts. period.

lol just kidding allison, but i'll be damned if there are any others.

i think all of underoath stuff pretty much sucks. and i really hate all the teenage girls that like Avril Leivne, Fall Out Boy and UnderOath

In my humble opinion they havent been good since The Changing of Times...they used to be a metal band, before the whole mall-rock phase. I haven't heard their newest effort, but i doubt it'll be worth it.

...so that means that you just dislike their latest album (discounting the one that has yet to be released), being that that's the only one since The Changing of Times?

Oh man, I just listened to "It's Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door". That has to be one of the worst songs ever.

lonesome, what's your favorite CD of theirs?

yup, and since in my opinion they've gotten worse with every album i can pretty safely assume that i wont like their unreleased effort.

ah i dunno.
they're not one of my favorite bands, but i like their old stuff AND their new stuff, despite it being different.
however, their new cd is closer to old than new.

I've been 'pleasantly surprised' by this new CD. It's actually somewhat enjoyable. Their fourth (TOCS) and third (TCOT) albums aren't like it at all. It's not like their black metal days (pretty much the first album) and there aren't actual standout songs, but it's not boring and is solid overall. A very big surprise indeed.
