This artist did the work for the Donnie Darko soundtrack. If you haven't seen the movie, find the soundtrack. It's amazing to listen to. I've never been a fan of music outside my very closed box of genre. First, when I was clueless, it was pop and rap. Then, when I hit puberty it went to classic rock. Then, I grew an affinity for punk. Then harder stuff. Eventually, it got to metal.

For many years, it leveled at metal and random music I enjoyed. However, listening to this soundtrack blasted open the vaults of musical opportunity. Now... I'm totally open to anything.

Has anyone else listened to Micheal Andrews? Any links to his other work are appriciated.

I've had the soundtrack for quite a while and I am a big fan of it, it's one of those soundtracks that is amazing, similar to say the soundtrack from Requiem for a Dream

It's really great ambient music, and he has an awesome sound.. I never thought to check out anymore of his stuff but I'll have to now

I never thought to look for more of his stuff either. I could never find who did the music for it, thank you a lot :). I've been listening to the music for years, and love it. Now I must search out more of Michaels Andrews' work.
