Dream Theater covers

I recently got my hands on two entire albums that Dream Theater covered, Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd and Master of Puppets by Metallica

I've already listened through DSotM and was absolutely blown away by how close they were actually able to mimmick the album. Aside from the voice, they had it down fully and it was a great rendition of it.

Right now I'm almost through with Master of Puppets and it is equally amazing.

In my opinion, this just shows how much Dream Theater fucking rocks - not only can they continue to make awesome music and adapt, but they can also play some of the most influential albums ever right down to the last note.

They've also covered Iron Maidens' album Number of the Beast, a Deep Purple album and a lot more - if you ever have the chance definitely check them out

I've heard the Master of Puppets and Number of the Beast covers before. They were selling the Dark Side of the Moon cover CD and DVD at the show I went to. I wasnt that interested in buying it at the time.

This isn't exactly what you're talking about, but it's another band covering Dream Theater...with acoustic instruments. I really like it, but I can't seem to find the place where you could download them for free anymore.

Oh nice, I have the Dream Theater covering Number of the Beast, but I am definately interested in getting those other ones, I love Dream Theater.
