in what way were they so "amazing" live..what did they do that no other band could do as well?

they really comanded the people at the show. the lead singer (name slips my mind at the moment) held conversations with the kids, jumped off the staged and crawled around on the floor and for the last song, jumped off staged handed me the mic and let me finsh the song while he danced.

And on second note: As the lead was singing, he walked up to my friend on the floor and started singing in his ear.
No other band would ever flirt with a man as they sing.
That killed the crowd.

i would have loved to see that
the other thing that was funny was BVS had a sign on their merch tabel that said "Bear vs Shark needs pot. if you have some, or know someone who has some let us know. we'll meet you in the parking lot after the show."

I've never heard of these guys before, which might be a first. The name sounds familiar but I cant put a sound on them.
Maybe if the opportunity presents itself I'll have an chance to hear them for the first time.

a band that you should really hear. the did something different and completely changed hardcore. but you like metal so you probably won't like them

After some reading I saw that some of the members got back together and formed a band called Cannons. They have a few demos up on their myspace http://www.myspace.com/cannonstheband
I'm listening to Cannons now and I like it, its some cool acoustic stuff. I thought BVS was hardcore though..
