Other than Yngwie Malmsteen, Liona Boyd is my favorite true classical guitarist.

When I was 16, I saw her in concert. And even went to a birthday party for her after the concert was over.
I got to hang out with her, and got an autograph.

I am 35 now, and I will never forget meeting her.

She is a very nice lady and awesome classical guitarist.

I listened to some clips off of "Romanza", cause it's her best seller, according to her. It's pretty cool...very mellow and very interesting. I like!

If I remember correctly, she was a student of Andres Segovia.

A while back, I had actually learned a song that she wrote. If you're a fan of hers, I'm sure you've heard of it. It's called "Spanish Romance" or "Spanish Ballad". It's quite a cool little fingerpicked number :)

Also, my old guitar teacher got a few lessons from her. He said that when she warmed up, she had some of the craziest finger excercises that he's ever seen.
