How did everyone or anyone who went to the show think it went?
I personally think it was one of the best show's ive seen in awhile.
Daphne loves derby played especially well.
I also started listening to black something or other.
I cant quiet remember.
I thought it was so funny during one of the song's DLD was playing, kenny spit on this girl.
and she smiled and had the look on her face like she would never shower again.
haha
but yeah if anyone went to the show, what'd you think of it.?

that band makes me sick. the way they manipulated PV was sicking. they should not be given any credit. i know everyone will always say they are such nice guys and they might be but you don't deserve the publicity and a record deal if you cheat to make yourself popular.

How'd they cheat to make themselves popular? I never heard about this.

back when these guys were starting out they put everything they had on purevolume. after a few months they relized the only way to get noticed was to be one of the top 10 bands on PV. so they rigged up their computer to constantly reload and play their page. it was figgured that they were getting somewere around 200 plays per computer per day that they did this. after a while they got to the top of the plays list and kids started to see the appearence of an increadably popular band. and you all know how the kids are. the web staff at PV saw DLD's extreme play count and figured out that there were more plays recorded than it was possible to have for the number of pages views. PV has since changed the tracking system on the players so that each computers ISP number has a limited number of plays and views per page.
i've heard a lot of people say it doesn't matter how a band gets popular as long as they are good. personally i think a band should have to work and make friends to get their name out. if they really are that good they'll get noticed. but then i'm a purist. i'd rather see a really great band, work really hard and never get signed to a major but have a really strong small fan base than see a band manipulate the system and end up with fans because they think its the cool thing to do.

I KNEW IT.
they got famous so fast....I knew something was fishy between them and pv. Where did you hear about this?

That is nuts... a great idea too. I agree with the whole they should have to work to get famous idea, but I suppose you can find creative ways around that now'a'days

Just look at the Arctic Monkeys! All they did was write some ubertrendy songs with a great vocalist, then release them on mp3 blogs and let the hype wheels roll.
inventive, creative- but not necessarily hard work. But then again, they're paid to be creative, aren't they?
=)

the difference is they were creative instead of manipulative.
