Anyone else here listen to import music?

I'm a big fan of a Japanese metal/rock band known as X-Japan. Their music is just awesome and better than the majority of the metal bands from anywhere else. At first, I didn't like them because I couldn't understand the lyrics, but after a while their music grew on me and I became addicted.

Another Japanese band that I enjoy listening to is L'arc~en~Ciel. I don't know how to classify their genre, but I'd say it's mainly rock. They're big over in Japan and easily rank in the top import bands. I also listen to Dir en Grey who play similar music.

Heh. Rammstein all the way man. After listening to their cd Sehnsucht, I was hooked. So far I have every Rammstein cd in existance as well as their dvd. I can't get enough of these guys.

And even though it's in german, you can sort of sing along because of how clear (yet dark and ravaging) Till's voice is. They perfectly blend techno into metal, which is no easy feat. I have to say that they were the ones that sort of influenced me to start listening to techno/trance, oddly enough.

What is import music mean?

Anyway if you talk about foreign music, then every thing from the west is foreign music to me as I'm an Indian.

X-Japan has a very good drummer, the song Endless Rain is quite nice too. I don't mind Rammstein too, but I get tired of the songs very quickly as its too simple for me.

I like British music....is that import?

just kidding. I like a lot of foreign stuff but I don't often buy it because the shipping's too much and I don't like to pay shipping on music if I can just get some band like them online.

(odd, I know- but that's the truth).

Rammstein is pretty cool, though.
